…maybe twins!  I know, I know, that doesn’t sound like much of a revelation, especially since I was thinking “maybe twins” early last week.  Technically, the news from Friday’s sonogram is that there ARE twins in there now, but one is smaller and looks like he/she might not make it. :-(  That was the bittersweet news, and I hope you all understand why it took me almost five days to come on here and blog about it.  I feel sad, and a little bit silly for feeling sad, because how can I be sad about losing something I didn’t even know I had?  I don’t know; all I can tell you is that I am.

   We go back on Friday morning for another sonogram, and we’ll be able to tell if Poppy and/or Sesame (as we are calling them) have developed a heartbeat.  The RE says that if one or both doesn’t have a heartbeat on Friday, then we’ll know the embryo stopped developing.  Please send Poppy and Sesame your good, sticky-baby thoughts!
