I am concerned about Tori Spelling.  It appears to have taken her only thirtysomething years to achieve the level of crazy it took Liz Taylor about seventy years (including several decades of friendship with Michael Jackson) to get to.*  Here is a picture of her with a chicken in a dress.  At least People magazine doesn’t seem disturbed.  They had this to say:

     “Though some pet owners have taken to putting diapers on their chickens, including actor Ewan McGregor, for easier clean-up, Spelling may be the first to doll up her little lady with such style.”

When did we get so cavalier about people who keep chickens as pets?  (And could this sentence have been drafted less skillfully?  It sounds like Ewan McGregor is a diaper-wearing chicken.) 

* I love me some Liz Taylor, but come on, we all know it’s true.
